What does an online shop cost in South Africa?
R3 000 once-off, which includes the full WooCommerce build, your first products loaded, payment and delivery setup, and 5GB hosting with a domain free for the first 12 months. After that the hosting renews at R1 500 a year.
Do you take a commission on my sales?
No. Never. The shop is yours, it runs on your own hosting, and we take nothing from your turnover. The only per-sale cost is what your payment gateway charges you directly.
How do customers pay me?
Through a South African payment gateway — card and instant EFT. The money goes to your bank account, not through us. You will need to open your own merchant account, and we will help you connect it.
How many products can I have?
There is no limit built into the shop. We load your first batch and show you how to add the rest yourself. Very large catalogues need more hosting, which is the only reason the package size matters.
How long does it take?
Our turnaround is 24 hours once we have your product information and images. Getting product photographs and descriptions together is usually the part that takes you longest.
Do I pay a deposit for a shop?
No. Online stores work the same way as our websites: we build the shop, you look at it on a live link, and you pay in full once it is finished and you are happy. Hosting, logo design and company profiles are the services that are paid upfront.
Can I add a shop to my existing website later?
Yes. If you start with the R1 500 website package and add a shop later, we quote the difference rather than charging you twice.
